On behalf of Carman Collegiate, it gives us great pleasure to be hosting the 2012 MHSAA provincial badminton championship for the second consecutive year.  I would like to welcome all the athletes, their coaches and the officials back to our school and community.  I would like to thank the many volunteers who have put in many hours organizing, training and working at this competition.  Thank you to the staff and students at Dufferin Christian School for their efforts and the use of their facility that allowed us to make it possible to host this championship.  I would like to also extend my appreciation to our Physical Education teachers for their collaboration in ensuring that all the details were looked after.

Best of luck to all the athletes.  May you compete with the true spirit of the game always in mind and may you once again remember Carman with positive memories and new friends you have made.  Thank you.

Welcome to DCS
On behalf of the staff and students of Dufferin Christian School I would like to extend our greetings to all the players, coaches, parents, and fans.  We are extremely excited and pleased to be a part of the Provincial Badminton Championships.
Events such as this are only possible with the hard work and dedication of many people working behind the scenes.  To all of those involved in organizing and to all of those who are volunteering their time to ensure the success of this event, congratulations and thanks for a job well done!  As well, to the many sponsors, your commitment to the youth of this province in their sports endeavours is greatly appreciated.
It is my hope that all athletes will have an enjoyable experience throughout this weekend.
